James Spader Mashup
Raymond “Ultron” Reddington

Thanks for coming back to Podvocacy, everyone.

Jason has a scratchy voice this week, but we recorded anyway, and we spend an awful lot of time discussing Avengers: Age of Ultron. If you haven’t seen the film yet, you may want to sit this week’s episode out. Or at the very least, I can give you the time codes for where the movie talk starts and stops. We start the discussion at approximately the 6:10 mark, and end at approximately 1:04:10…that’s right…we spent an hour talking just about Age of Ultron.

We also do some quick discussion of Gotham, The Flash, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and two weeks worth of The Blacklist.

Also, Jason goes on a rant about Marvel Puzzle Quest, and David congratulates the WWE on a rare good episode of Monday Night Raw.

  • – Throwing the format out the window, shoot style, bruther!
    – Seriously, hope you are feeling better, Jason
    – But what pinball machines did they have, David?
    – At our 10:10am on a Sunday morning show of Ultron, the theater was over 2/3 full, only $6.00 per ticket!
    – Not to repeat what will come out on the LBH Extra, but I’m glad I’m not the only one who questioned those special effects in the opening scene
    – Side bar about SNL, I tried to watch that Black Widow spin off parody thing, SOOOOO unfunny
    – Jason you have a legitimate gripe with the change to ISO upgrades in MPQ, but at this point, I’ve come to realize the game will always be in a state of flux
    – RAW was very good this week, outside of no Luke Harper, almost perfect

  • – We’ve gotta keep it fresh!
    – He was a trouper, wasn’t he?
    – They have some newer ones like Iron Man, Walking Dead, and Lord of the Rings, but they also have some early/mid 90s ones like the Addams Family, Attack from Mars. and Guns N Roses. They even have an AC/DC machine, which I’m sure would attract Todd’s attention.
    – The theater by my house also does Sunday special pricing. I paid $5 each for my son and I.
    – Yeah…they were definitely questionable.
    – I’m pretty forgiving of SNL…but that was really bad.
    – Yeah, I think that’s pretty natural in a game that is constantly trying to get people to spend more money on it. It’s not like the old days where you bought a game for $50 and that was it.
    – There was a definitely lack of Luke Harper…but even when he’s on the show, it’s rarely enough.
