Welcome back to Podvocacy!

This week, Jason and David talk about the NFL Playoffs, and David’s frustration with the fact that he can pick games when Pigskin Pick ‘Em season is over.

In TV Talk, the guys discuss the most recent episode of Agents of SHIELD and the season finale of The Gifted. On Agents of SHIELD, the gang goes a little wibbly wobbly timey wimey, and Flint discovers that a gun/axe is extremely useful. On The Gifted season finale, the Mutant Underground loses its home, and then loses itself as the team clearly chooses sides. There are also divisions in the Strucker family…so that’s not good.

In Wrestling with Wrestling, David talks briefly about the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw, and chooses a very special match for his Powerbomb.tv match of the week.

A brief reminder that you can sign up for a free trial at Powerbomb.TV, using the code “Podvocacy”.

Have a great week!

  • – stupid and holds a grudge, I’M RIGHT HERE!
    – rajah dot net???? What about SEScoops?
    – “Patriots Devil Magic?” SMDH
    – To me it’s funnier NOT to say Super Bowl
    – that being said, ‘WEEELLLLL, IT’S THE BIG GAME! IT’S A BIG BAD GAME TONIGHT!”
    – Making money does not make something good, look at the Transformers film franchise
    – I really don’t remember giving you that hard of an issue last week…

  • – I don’t think you’re stupid. I do believe you hold grudges, though.
    – I remember ScoopsCentral from when I was in college.
    – This is me taking something that people use against me for my own purposes. During the St. Louis Cardinals big run in the mid 2000s-early 2010s, they would get out of a lot of jams that most people didn’t think they would, and it came to be known as “Cardinal Devil Magic”. So I now use it to describe the Pats.
    – I completely agree. I also like that it’s a running issue for Jason. I think this is three years in a row that we’ve talked about it on the podcast.
    – I think it’s interesting that he played basketball instead of football. He would’ve been a hell of a lineman.
    – Absolutely true. Also see The Attitude Era.
    – We’re probably playing it up for effect.
